Infrastructure Security and Resilience

From the U.S. Department of State to the municipal water utilities, organizations have been calling on AEM for security support for many years. AEM has been a principal player in the definition and development of water sector security.  We were asked to be subject matter experts during the development of the Risk Analysis and Management for the water sector’s development of Critical Asset Protection (RAMCAP) which resulted in a national approach for cross-cutting critical infrastructure risk assessment.  We chair a national standards committee for the creation of a risk analysis standard for use in the water sector.  AEM believes that the outstanding utility operations are those who have a strong, resilient, security environment; who make considered investments to reduce risk while increasing the resilience of the system to recover.
